Ileli Blasts Ruto’s Attack on Kalonzo, Terms It Insult to Kamba Community

Image
Kitui Central politician Crispus Ileli has come out guns blazing against President William Ruto’s remarks during the Mashujaa Day celebrations in which he appeared to disrespect the Wiper Patriotic Front party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.  While appearing to dismiss the Wiper boss during his off the cuff speech at Ithookwe stadium, president Ruto took a jibe at Kalonzo's “vomwe vetwe” (we are together) slogan, something that was immediately taken as an insult to the community and its kingpin. Ileli who is popularly known as Mwene Mavati  said it was regrettable that the Head of State chose to belittle H.E Kalonzo, a respected statesman and the region’s undisputed political kingpin, instead of fostering unity among Kenyans.  “ Mocking Kalonzo is not just mocking a person,  it is mocking the millions of Kambas who look up to him for leadership,” he said . The youthful politician noted that Kalonzo had earned respect across the country for his humility, experience, and ...

Chris Ileli alias Mwene Mavati Report by Theodore Muia  Kitui Central politician Chris Ileli has strongly condemned the decision by government operatives to deny Wiper Patriotic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka an opportunity to speak during the state funeral of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Speaking during a voter registration sensitization drive in Kitui Central constituency, Ileli termed the move a blatant mockery to the entire Kamba community. The parliamentary aspirant said it was deeply regrettable that a man of Kalonzo’s stature — who stood by Raila through thick and thin, serving twice as his running mate — was not allowed to pay his final respects publicly. “Denying Kalonzo a chance to eulogize his brother, a man he worked with for many years in the struggle for democracy, was not just disrespectful to him personally but an insult to the Kamba nation,” Ileli said amid applause from the crowd.  He noted that Kalonzo had been at the center of Kenya’s politic...

Alleged UDA mole in Wiper Hon CNN  Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna aka CNN has finally come out of the closet after being accused for long of being a UDA mole within the Wiper Patriotic Front party. CNN whose popularity has waned drastically has come out to criticize and malign his former party and party leader, just a day after he was spotted idling in Statehouse where he claimed he had gone to lobby for development. "Wiper is a vengeful party. They have pursued me with vengeance na mimi sipangwingwi" declared CNN in his statement reeking of arrogance.  "In 2027 I will show you direction" he told his supporters in a move seen as his formal announcement to ditch the Kalonzo led party for UDA.  CNN further blamed Kalonzo for fraternizing with the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua whom the legislator claimed was an enemy of development.
